After a month a acupuncture, my husband and I were finally expecting! Charlotte was wonderful through the entire process! After my 1st failed IVF and doing research on my own, on the benefits of using acupuncture, I reached out to Oriental Healing Oasis in Burlington. Hesitant at first of what it would be like to receive acupuncture treatments, I was immediately put at ease by Charlotte with her professionalism and care to make me feel comfortable. In the weeks and months ahead, I began to experience and feel a difference in my body as I prepared for a 2nd attempt at IVF. I felt more relaxed and prepared this time in part because of using acupuncture alongside my fertility doctor’s expertise. This second IVF cycle was successful and I’m now expecting a baby boy! I continued throughout my pregnancy with acupuncture treatments to treat morning sickness and low back pain. I know it has helped me maintain a healthy and flawless pregnancy. I honestly do not think I would have had the success I had without the help of Charlotte. I highly recommend her skills!
My husband and I decided eight years after the birth of our first child, that we would try again. It wasn’t that easy the second time around and we tried for nearly a year without success. After doing some of my own research, I thought I would give acupuncture a try before trying other much more expensive routes. After about four months of treatment, I was pregnant with twin boys! Charlotte was able to help us achieve something we thought may no longer be possible.
Our path to conceiving a child wasn’t the easy road we expected it to be. However, it was made much easier by Charlotte at Oriental Healing Oasis. After trying to conceive for more than a year, we discovered that my cycles were abnormal and that we also had male fertility issues of malformation and motility, which meant that IVF was our only chance at conceiving the child we so desperately wanted. I didn’t know much about acupuncture before that but thought I would give it a try. Charlotte’s bedside manner and calming spirit immediately put me at ease and helped me relax during what is a very emotionally draining and physically stressful process. Within a few months, my cycles became more regular and my usual monthly issues, like terrible cramps, went away. My husband’s fertility improved as well. After taking samples in over time, they could see an improvement in the shape, quantity and motility of his sperm. Although our first IVF was unsuccessful, I continued to visit Charlotte at Oriental Healing Oasis in preparation for another attempt. Those visits not only helped prepare my body to go through the process again, but helped me heal and deal with the pain of our first attempt not succeeding. It all paid off in the end when we found out we are expecting twins!
I have continued to visit Charlotte throughout my pregnancy and her treatments really helped with my morning sickness, back issues and other pregnancy woes. I cannot stress how much I appreciate all she has done to help my husband and I realize our dream of having children. I truly don’t believe this all would have come together without her.
